Phelps Science Center

John worked with Centerbrook Architects on this multi-faceted educational building.  The organization of the building was derived from the ovular “Harkness Table” used by the school to promote interactive and participatory learning.  Science classrooms of each discipline surround a common lab where one or more classes may participate in experiments.  John focused his efforts on roofing and exterior wall details as a contribution to the established project team.
