Deep River, CT

This classic 1950’s partial split ranch sits snuggly on a steep hillside overlooking the Connecticut River. The new design consisted of an upper and lower level interior renovation which included a kitchen, family room, and four bathrooms. Other phases of the project include site work and a renovated sun room. The interior styling blends the existing house aesthetics with the client’s love of both old world chic and New England charm. We completely transformed the existing awkward, tight, dim kitchen into a roomy, well-appointed, bright space with “million-dollar” views of the river. The new bathrooms, each with their own distinct personality, made clever use of very limited space. We worked very hard to address the many needs of the house and made great progress toward unlocking its full potential. The value of the house has increased significantly with this renovation and will continue to do so in future phases. (photos by Jody Dole)
